One of the highly-detailed starter bars and lounges in contemporary
hospitality haven business, had its doors thrown open in grand
style on Independence Day, October 1.
The Nook Bar and Grill outlet
is exotically located at 61, Madam Tinubu Street (former Queen Street),
Alagomeji, Yaba, Lagos Mainland, and will be catering for the cravings
of powerful socialites and lovers of grill around Lagos Mainland and
even beyond. Nook Bar and Grill is the brainchild of two well-focused
female entrepreneurs, Adunni Omolayole, a lawyer and the CEO of Karrara-Black
Limited, a company engaged in the local production of luxury leather
goods (shoes and bags), and Orighoye Dore, a consummate chef and CEO
of Nylah's Catering and Nylah's Food Express, who is also a graduate
of The International Culinary School of the Art Institute of Washington.
In keeping with the spirit of its female ownership, it employs mainly,
but not exclusively female staff, including its bartenders and waiting
staff.
The Nook Bar and Grill was so named for the nature of its space.
Set in the heart of Yaba, its intimate set-up is the perfect place to
start off a night-out or to wind down after a long day at work. It offers
a boutique space for hosting private events of up to 30 people. On open
nights, a selection of expertly-crafted cocktails and delectable tapas
menu (fingerlings) from the grill can be sampled, while simultaneously
enjoying the cool evening breeze and listening to soft classical music.
The Happy hours on Thursdays and Fridays at the Nook are a must-attend
for people who love to have a good time on a very affordable budget.
The Nook Bar and Grill also offers its bar and grill services to off-site
events and parties.
